With a friend, your family or in your small group, discuss the following questions:
- On a scale of 1 (not very busy) to 5 (one more thing and I’m going to break), how busy and/or complicated does your life feel? What are some of the things that contribute to that feeling?
- What are some things that you would like to do, but you don’t have the margin (room to manoeuvre) to do so?
- Why do you think we (either as individuals or culturally) over program our schedules and live without any margin?
- Read Matthew 6:25-33. What does Jesus teach us in regards to simplicity in this passage?
- Read John 13:1-17. What traits does Jesus display that we need in order to have True service, as opposed to self-righteous service?
- What steps can you take to simplify your life so that you have more room love God and serve others?
