1) Review the “three points to avoid” points from the sermon

• Think and discuss passages of scripture that are DEscriptive and passages that are PREscriptive. 
• Read through Acts 21:1-26…even though much of it can be considered Descriptive, there is much we learn about helpful practices in Christian community. Discuss some of these things. 
• Have you ever felt a specific “call from God” on your life for a specific situation? How did you react?

2) Review the “three things to think about” points

• We talked about how most often, there are more than one possible “God-honouring” choices in most situations. Discuss some examples of what this could look like in your life
• Are there any other “pitfalls” that you have encountered in your life when seeking God’s will?



3) Application

• How are you investing yourself in the full story of scripture?
• Are you investing time into your Christian community…event if it comes at a cost to yourself?
• Is there a “next wise choice” for you to make?
